History of the Circle of Champions
Ed Cole’s Son Story:
Pastor Church met Paul Cole, Ed Cole’s son, on a trip to Cleveland, TN. Pastor told Paul that he read his dad’s books and appreciated them greatly. Paul asked Pastor if he did a men’s ministry and continued by explaining what his dad, Ed, always said. “If I was only allowed to have one ministry outside of regular Sunday/Wednesday church service, I would offer a men’s ministry. Because if you can minister to the men, the women will follow, then the children, then the community.” He explained further that it should be the pastor who leads the men’s ministry and to not delegate it to someone else. This really hit home with pastor and from there Circle of Champions began. Pastor does Circle of Champions every Tuesday in Marion, OH at 7:30 am and every Friday morning in Bucyrus, OH at 7:30 am, where he disciples men and teaches them how to become the spiritual leader of their home as God calls them to be.

:6 “And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart.
:7 “You shall teach them diligently to your children, and you shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up.
The Circle of Champions is a weekly gathering of men in pursuit of becoming great Christian fathers, husbands, leaders, businessmen. At each gathering, attendees are inspired, challenged, and taught truth regarding their role according to scripture. Relationships are developed, fellowship is experienced, and a sense of accountability is instilled.
